Most passports can be ordered at your local post office. You will need a picture and photo ID.
FIRST THING’S FIRST: When you get to the Airport ask where can you get a Beef PATTY- They have beef, chicken, and veggie (thank me later)😊.
Keep your phone in airplane mode the duration of your trip to avoid roaming charges. Download WhatsApp to communicate and you will be able to connect to Wi-Fi.
There is a commute from the airport so sit back and enjoy the ride. You will have an option to stop. Some recommended stops are Scotchie’s and the Jerk Shack.
For couples that will be celebrating an anniversary that weekend and would like to upgrade your room options please contact the travel agent for discount pricing and honeymoon perks.
There is a weekend itinerary in place but for those that prefer to do something different on the last day, please visit the excursions desk upon arrival and book in advance.
Book your dinner reservations for the restaurant of your choice the same day you arrive.
I suggest you book the first flight out to give yourself enough time to get to the resort and relax before the festivities begin.
Thank you all for your love and support. Now let’s have some fun YEAH MON!!!!
Our Love Story
I guess you can simply say it was just meant to be…
Shawn and I met innocently through a mutual family member. The funny thing is I knew his older brother because he and my cousin are best friends. I knew Shawn’s older brother but not him, because I always wanted to be around my older cousins.
I ended up moving to Georgia in the early 90’s. Once I moved back to New York, that’s when Shawn and I officially met–and he always wondered how everyone knew me except for him lol. He said he was intrigued with me from the moment he laid eyes on me but thought that I came to the restaurant (the place we met) with my man (which actually was my cousin).
It wasn’t love at first sight for me, but it didn’t take long for me to notice how different Shawn was.
After being around each other, it didn’t take long for us to realize there was a chemistry between us. We had things in common, such as he attended Clark Atlanta University, and I went to Morris Brown College during the same years. We knew the same people and had some of the same interests. When we met, we were both in relationships, although mine was short lived. For some reason our connection was undeniable. We noticed it as well as those around us. I moved back to Georgia, but we kept in touch. Long story short, things began to slow down for Shawn in New York. He paid a visit to Atlanta and so began our long journey that led us to February 28, 2018 –when he proposed. And also to December 12, 2019, when we set our wedding date for December 12, 2020 –a date when we will be going before God to make our union official.
